This course provides students with knowledge of recreational fisheries as an alternative approach in fisheries resources management. Students will be introduced to the concept and history of recreational fisheries, including target species, equipment, fishing techniques, and conservation practices associated with this sector. Students will also learn the unique characteristics of recreational fisheries and how they differ from other types of fisheries.
